The Old Folks Home

Sorry to hear all the war stories of dealing with realtors, banks, and mortgage companies, but glad to know I'm not the only one bad things have happened to. Seriously, I would never have believed it, had I not experienced it.

I love the whole story/history and everything about your place @perchie.girl I'd a bought it, and would love to have it/fix it up etc. Hope you get busy on it someday and report back on how great your doing and how the chicken math is getting away from you :-D

I never liked cats, don't like them at all...Lol! Had to get a kitten for our dd#3 for her birthday, dang thing sleeps by my head most nights. Don't know why it likes me, don't like it. Maybe because I'm intuitive to what it wants, not hard to tell if it wants water, or food, have a little inside dog also, eats and drinks all the cats food and water. Dang thing follows me to the bathroom, wants water, yup, follows me to the fridge, wants food, yup, DW can holler at it cause it's doing something she don't like, on top of the couch, etc, doesn't like the cats 'expression' .... I love that!

It's like 'F you, I'll do what I want' coolest cat ever, I don't like cats.
It killed a mouse last night, didn't know we had them, put it next to dd#2's head as a present....Lol!
I about freaked out, I've been using poison, don't want it to hurt the little kitty...

Beercan that's one big reason why I don't like cats, they either bring you grisly gifts or upchuck the something awful they ate. The other reason is they pretend to make nice, nice, and then scratch the daylights out of you. You never see it coming either. Dogs I understand - cats - forget it.

We have 5 cats and 5 dogs. We didn't intend to have that many, but like chickens, they just sort of happened.

Yes the cats do their fair share of barfing, usually hairballs and usually it seems as though they really do aim for the important contract that is laying on the kitchen island. However nothing tops the disgusting scale like the morning the dog came in the house and upchucked the rabbit she had caught and eaten when DH let them out earlier.

I swear I'm pretty much gag proof but that one had me dry heaving for a half hour at least.

Our cats usually leave their mouse offerings in front of the fireplace where they know we will step on them when we add wood to the fire.

Okay 15 lb Siamese mix walked up over my neck last
night to get away from invading white terrier dog
I have inch deep wounds from my eat down 3, 1 whole pierced
just forward of the ear..
I am not a cat person always had 1, wanted my dogs to be familiar
the thing that could blind them...
now there is 8 ... house big enough cats have room to
themselves but no lets upchuck where they know it will be found

the three outside ones are the mole givers, mouse prizes..
but My defunked service dog Labrador may take such mole or
mouse from said cat and eat it himself
