Since they are wild turkeys, they are protected--except during Turkey season of course.Hope they didn't take him home for dinner![]()
If someone took him home they probably want him for a pet. Hopefully!

Davis is a very Turkey friendly place. Talking to some of the residents, most of the turkeys are like him here. They feed them and walk up to them all the time.
He has not been back since so I think one of the students took him home with them.
I will let you know if he returns.
Many yrs ago I was woke up by my uncle and a buddy of his at 1am. He had something under his arm and both of them laughing, asked if I wanted a goose. I really didn't want to process one right then but yeah, I guess so... He dropped it in my living room, it stood up and jumped up on the couch and left a big pile of goose poo... I came unhinged!!! AND TAKE YOUR GOOSE WITH YOU!!!
They found it standing under the stoplight in town on the way to my place to see if I wanted to suck down some beers. Thought they were funny, they didn't leave laughing. Funny now thinking back on it...
They found out it was a farmer's pet Canadian goose a couple miles from town and returned it the next day.
I was really hoping to make it to my 50s before I'd need to change my lenses up to progressives.Quote:My near sighted vision has taken a dive bomb the last month. I've got to take my glasses off to see. The same with my hubby's vision. But he's 4 years older than I am so I've been telling him that it's just not fair!
I see progressive lenses in my near future.![]()

Um, I've been wearing progressives for decades. Tried bifocals at first. THE WORST! Out working in the garden things clear, glance a bit farther down without moving your head and NAUSEA with everything totally out of focus.
