The Old Folks Home

So sorry to hear about everyone's mishaps. "Getting old ain't for sissies" is kind of true because the knocks seem harder. Not only has my warranty run out, but the manual is missing. Oops. Just hanging out until I can justify replacement parts.

(Stay safe, Everyone!)

Peepshow sounds like me too. If it wasn't so true it would be laughable. Now, not so much.

Yep, right there with a few of you. I find out this ... ahem, Halloween day, if I have breast cancer. Going back for that 6 month follow up. That went by fast. I had a tumor taken out before, not cancer. So, I'm going with, just another one of those, only smaller. It may not even appear with the ultra sound. Will see!

Man, there are some talented folks on here! I want some of those cute little stuffed animals! Only bigger. :D Can't wait to see your project done chicka..and man..that necklace is beautiful!

No snow here yet. We are having warm weather! 70 degrees here today..and tomorrow. I'm thinking .. I wonder if it has anything to do with DiDi moving away. lol...

She doesn't like the snow, she moves..maybe it follows her?

X 2 on that.

I hope everyone stays well; good health AND no injuries.

I had no idea that lamp work involved that type of risk.
I saw people doing lamp work in the 90's in the malls prior to Christmas and I SO wanted to learn the craft.
I could never find any information on any courses/mentorship so I eventually dropped the idea.
The glass acts like that because it's Pyrex? Am I anywhere close?

It seems to me that I was told that by someone working the glass.
The other thing that sticks out in my mind was how expensive the rods were.

I started doing nail art a couple of years ago and I like the idea of it in case I needed a career to support myself IF I had to move off the farm.
(Hubby's always trying to die on my if he gets surgery; pulmonary embolisms. Silly man, he can't get away THAT easily.)

I figure it's something I can do indefinitely, hopefully...as long as I get those progressives/bifocals so I can see what I'm doing.
