Look up feed stores. they will sell supplies for livestock and horses too.

This is a link to what I found when i searched for feed stores in RI

just a casual count I find eight but If you are close to the border you may find more.

In a pinch you can look in Walmart and Costco for Chicken feed. I know mine carry chicken feed.... one Walmart that I know of carries Scratch , Pelleted layer... they also carry a Grain suitable for cows goats and horses. Though I dont feed grain to my horse and goats I have bought it in a pinch for the chickens

Here we have one feed store Very High Priced (there you know what doesn't stink) on the hwy headed towards I-5 close to silver creek
our end of Washington state does not have many choices

Scg maybe you can find someone on here that has some NN hatching eggs.

Yeah I'm going to be looking for eggs soon, will likely do the NYD hatch.

Someone a bit further south than me has silkies with 1 out of 4 being showgirls. I don't think I can take another showgirl and I'm not a big fan of silkies. Miss Piggy is very needy.

Spent all day in a stenciling fabric class... apparently I signed up for the wrong class because it was not what I thought it was going to be. Sigh. Well at least it will make a nice christmas present. But sheesh, pay attention to the task at hand so it's what you expect, SCG.

There are some resources for things like breed abbreviations.

I-5 is Interstate 5. It is the main freeway that goes form Canada to Mexico on the West Coast of the United States. hwy is High Way.

Do a search off of the home page for the breed abbreviations.

aside from breeds DD usually means dear daughter DS dear son DW dear wife DH dear husband GD grand daughter etc. SO significant other MIL mother-in-law

FIL father in law SOS - shoot, shovel, shut up
