We run snow tires all year round. We have 4 miles of gravel and clay roads between us and the nearest blacktop. Those deep treaded tires have saved our bacon more than once when the road has turned to a quagmire of Missouri Gumbo as far as the eye can see.That's why you just get your tires switched over and keep them that way all winter.
