Hahahhaa I cannot even count the times I do this! hahhaa

So happy your son made it home again safe and sound :love   Is he home for good?  (sorry if I'm not keeping up).

We had a Christmas miracle!!!!  We actually got our car back today!!!  Only been since November 8th, jeeesh!!! (3-4 weeks? not.)
When we were inspecting the repairs the guy in charge of getting our car done wouldn't look me in the eye, probably a good thing. :smack

He should maybe be home for a year and a half now....not really sure though.

Kid 2 has already applied to be a camp councilor this summer...which means he will be gone for nine weeks solid. Crazy town... boys growing up.

He also said that he once was served biscuits and gravy with zero sausage... he thought that was very odd.

For some odd reason, some food selling folks have decided that "pepper gravy" or "country gravy" are, as terms, interchangeable & it doesn't need sausage in it... pretty much ludicrous to my way of thinking... Call it what you will but if it's gravy to be put on biscuits, it must have sausage in it, or the alternative of chipped beef on toast, which must have chipped beef in it.

Glad to hear your son was successful in his endeavor and has accomplished Eagle scout. Nice to have kids we can be proud of

(About gravy and my boy)

Ok...Alaskan funny....

On Alaskan facebook.... family is gunna have to have their female goat, and the 4 new kids for probably 3 days in the house with them. :lau

I am all for such shenanigans... but my spouse would have one impressive fit if I tried such a thing. :lau

The kids are just a bit chilled, and where they are at it is in the negatives..... so into the house went the doe and kids. -snicker-

I'm OK with no sausage in peppered/country, milk and drippings, gravy, when it's on chicken fried venison steaks

Really get upset, one of my favorite foods, when DW makes spaghetti with no meat in it...WHAT! Even spaghetti O's have a little bit of 'meat'...
Prefer it with just hamburger but Italian sausage or meatballs is fine also, put something in it!
Like eating a salad just consisting of lettuce, who does that?...

I do that...ate two plates of lettuce, nothing garnishes on it, just salad dressing. Couldn't be bothered to pile it with ham and cheese at this time of night.
I eat just lettuce quite often.

No idea about the sausage in gravy and biscuits. Gravy with biscuits are not a thing in my part of the world.

Are you talking, like, buns?
