The Old Folks Home

Needs to be spring. Ive had my share of winter.
I love the puzzle by the way xoxo
I've had enough winter too, and we have had mild weather most of the time.
The puzzle was a gift from someone special.

The rocks were difficult but I love a challenge!

We do have climate change, everyone!

It's called W-I-N-T-E-R! Usually happens after the seasonal hot spell called Summer. My husband reminds me of that fact every time I gripe about winter weather.

I love jigsaw puzzles. Problem is, so does our cats. They bat the pieces around the house, nibble on the little tabs and corners. We'd have to have a vault in order to indulge in one.

I love those Find-a-Word word search puzzles - I get them at the Dollar Store. I have scientifically proven that when hungry I have a miserable time finding the easiest words.

But, after ingesting, ice cream, chocolates, or other things of sweet persuasion, I suddenly find words one right after another. I kid you not. I have done this repeatedly.

Microchick sounds like your husband loves to rain on your parade. Griping is one of the major joys of life - therefore he is a killjoy.

Nah, he loves cold weather. He was raised in Wisconsin where they have two seasons. Winter and July. I'm pathetically cold blooded, mainly do to the cardiac medicine I've taken since I was 28 years old. The house feels toasty warm to me when the stove is cranking and the thermometer reads 79. DH used to do century (100 mile) bike rides in 5 degree weather. He'd come home with icicles hanging from his beard and mustache and the back of his riding jersey frozen with ice caked on it. He would be comfortable. I would just be a Popsicle.

Penny1960 I'll have to check out that site. I used to choose a puzzle for every winter. I'd scour the stores and find a big 1000-1500 piece puzzle that would be so hard it would make your eyes hurt and make it last all winter. It usually kept me from chewing up the furniture. What is that old saying, a bad day outside is better than a good day inside? That is my life philosophy.

Oh I would much rather be outside was raised don't sit always things to keep us

Take heart was Wisconsin brat for 8 years still hate snow.. cold, rain have
