The Old Folks Home

Penny1960, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom passing. I don't know if I caught that bit of sad news or missed it completely.

I lost my mom in 99. I was in my 40s but Itell you, no matter what kind of relationship that you had with your mom, it's never easy and you are never ready to say goodbye to her.

Runt325, I'm so sorry to hear that you are facing the loss of your grandmother. Our loved ones live on through us, our memories and in our hearts. The best we can do is try to live our lives in a way that honors their memories. May God comfort you and your family at this time and in the days to come.

I just finished starting my plants for the garden, tomatoes, butternut squash and sweet pumpkins and then just because they are calling for snow over the next 5 days, some Marigolds. Next week temps back in the 70s.

All of you frustrated with the on again, off again spring....add me to the list of disgruntled BYC members.

Mad's and I already have lettuce and spinach sprouting in her little garden so we're hoping the cold weather doesn't completely kill it off.
