I know it just keeps on commin at all of us. But apparently someone knows we all have needed it for a long time commin. So I am just trying to go with the flow.

It looks as though the vet did a total resection on the leg and am I seeing that right? Took the foot also? Whow! With a surgery like that I'd have to wager a guess that yes, he or she removed some sort of extensive growth. Big question is was it malignant or benign and just massive?

Hope puppy is doing well. Dogs are very resilient. They just carry on like everything was normal because in their minds it is...at least for them.

And it appears that Main is getting the solid form of what we have been getting over the past 4+ days. Sorry guys.As muddy as it is here I'd almost rather have snow than rain.

I remember seeing Maine Senator Angus King on TV the last time you had a big storm forecast. The anchor, questioning him about a senatorial matter earlier, said she hoped everything would be okay in Maine when the big storm hit. He said, We'll be fine. Mainers are used to it. We are tough....or something to that effect. I thought of you the minute he said it.

I know I'd manage if necessary, but I wouldn't want to live with those kind of conditions....Illinois winter weather is barely tolerable for me.

That's one of the reasons Missouri appealed to us. Where we lived in Western IL averaged an annual snowfall int the 50 inch range. Here in MO, it's in the mid 20s. I know that still sounds like a lot but when you are used to getting at least one snowfall in the 20" range in IL, it puts things into perspective.

Here we get more ice than snow and that has it's own dangers as the rib I broke due to a slip on ice proved for me back in January. But we still enjoy the milder winters we have in North Eastern MO compared to IL. Our only regret is that we couldn't move farther south due to our need to commute before retirement.

I spent 10 years in a snow area in Germany had my fill that's why I live in south I mean SOUTH Georgia lol just wish it wasn't so dang hot and humid in the summer

The storms we had over night blew one of my surge bars, the one our big screen tv was plugged in. I spent 30 minutes trying to get the tv on.
I finally got the plug switched to an extension cord till we get a new bar. The yard is flooded again. Hopefully it will dry out a bit before
we get another storm on Monday.

Love it out here.... We do get rain..... lots of rain as long as you stay on the eastern side of the
mountains eastern Washington is harsher seasons our western side is rain or sun, clouds or rain
one of the reasons fleas are so bad out here is winters do not get cold enough to kill

SCG, we snowed all day yesterday. -sigh- typical for us this time of year. "Spring showers" and all that. Last year we got a bit over a foot of snow in April.
