I have snow and zero green. But I now have some mud. and not only on the "swallow up an entire car" driveway.

sometimes I feel like we have moved in Iceland but nope, we're just in northern Wisconsin.  It's still snowing and when I went to check on the chooks I had to shovel my way in but it's getting lighter so I think it will be stopping soon, for now anyway.  They have us for more snow a couple days in a row next week.  My chicks are supposed to ship on 5/10.  I can only pray that it will warm up enough by then that they don't freeze to death in the truck.  I really thought I had a shot by waiting until the second week but now I'm not so sure.

Well....you actually get heat though, so I am sure you will be fine. this is just the last hit of April Showers northern version.

Well I LOVED Guardian's of the Galaxy mainly Groot & Drax. The new movie Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2 opens May 5th. I can hardly wait!! My brother too. I did buy a small, stuffed Groot and he is so stinkin' cute, I got my brother one as well.

The United States has far more going on as far as states than we do with provinces....lol. You're not that far away, but you're kinda close to the lakes. Do the lakes usually make a difference. Ontario gets it with the lake effect snow. We've been freezing temps here for most of the week, but we missed any predicted snow.

We warm up some by Saturday and it looks like it holds and then rises to the 70s by the 10th "if" they're right. Hopefully you'll warm up too. Totally understand with the chicky countdown.

Still seems weird seeing you with snow and knowing we are bare ground...

Kids fed me..... they made homemade (of course with home grown eggs) hollindaise sauce for Eggs Benedict...but with bacon, not ham.

I made them toss spinach on mine...trying to be healthy ya see.

There is still a bucket of hollindaise left over.... eldest made it. (Too many eggs...had to do something)




And DRUM ROLL.


The ONLY chore today was to find the blasted retainer.... or clean.

We found them!!!!

So grateful. Just wow.

OOOH hollindaise....

good on fish especially salmon, asparagus, Just about any veggie....

Its a food group all by itself.
