The Old Folks Home

Quote: This isn't a chemical. It's a naturally-occurring bacterium that specifically targets caterpillars (though there is one strain of this bacterium that targets mosquitoes, known as Bti). It is one thing that can be used by organic farmers without any threat to their "organic" status.

Why on Earth people purchase and operate vehicles or death traps such as the one in that pic on the highways is nothing but pure, unadulterated Darwinism. Do these people ever consider head on crashes, especially with semi trucks? This is not a progressive move forward imo. Utter stupidity.
I do not know what the appeal is to a smart car. Honda Civics hold 5 people and get better gas mileage. Civics cost less too.

Shallow Gene Pool?

@Beer can. I am definitely going to try that bread recipe. Have you ever made it using Whole Wheat Flour. Is it possible to make it with Whole Wheat Flour?

any head on with a semi is going to have bad results... Just sayin

Thanks Beer can but if I have to use chemicals on my garden then it's no different than what I could buy in the store.
yep. My gardens are all certified organic, or should I say use to be They actually still are, it's just since I stopped doing Master Gardener northern how to classes I let the certification expire.
Not nearly as many gardens either, getting old you know.

In which case, you would know that Thuricide is not a chemical. Some manufacturers have jumped through the hoops to have their Bt products certified as organic, but not all have, so if one is worrying about certification, those formulations are what people need to look for.
I apologize to you as well. I am very sorry. I did not explain myself properly. I was not referring to the Thuricide but to the doing my best to eat chemical free part. I surrender. I just can't avoid p$%^&ing you guys off I guess.
