Well, I felt silly. We have very lovely, helpful and gracious admin staff...lol.

We can quote posts from other threads and quote them say...on this thread. The cache is 24 hours. Just a heads up about that one.

I miss my badges too, we work our tails off to get them and poof gone in the wind.
I also don't want a million emails every time I touch the keyboard. There's no room left for really important non-chicken emails. I mean I don't need an email as proof that I answered a new member or ??

But it crowds out other stuff like LLBean or Lands end having a big one day sale, or Zazzle having 50% off my favorite items. Or the grocery store ad showing my favorite ice cream brand on sale..

BYC is FOREVER, I hope. Not so for retail establishments.

Also miss my favorite smilies, the bouncing chick, the blue thing pounding fist, shooting mouth off, etc.

It is sooooo great though, when I catch up with the usual great crowd, I hope everyone finds their way back.

PS do we still get to nominate members for awards when there are NO badges.

One more thing and I will . Any word on Rachel?

Thank you for the correction Ron Guess I never paid that much attention to that. In fact, I think I already know more about this new site than I ever did about the workings of the old one. I know I've already done a lot more "snooping" on here.
Could you plz answer a question (probably a very silly one) for me? Al mentioned the trophies and I noticed all the alerts I was getting about earning them on the BYH site. (Never paid attention to them on here) What are they for?

The trophies are awarded for things you do as well as likes. They are the points you see in your profile.

Diva, the badges will be back! Nifty and crew are working on getting them over here.

Its Copper out of 12 gauge and 20 gauge wire the stones are Tektites the byproducts of meteor strikes.
