Got the fence charger ready for my next go at goats. That and cattle panels..... will be my yard. hot wire will also help protect your goats from outside dogs getting and harassing them.

Dogs were my concern, don't have bad one's but they come around. DW thinks we can just put a couple goats on leashes or chains and move them around, see people do that. Not a good idea I've read, get spooked, run around and tangle themselves up, injured. ?
One of my first posts on FB DW said I better erase it cause it was public Lol, my youngest brother posted a found lost dog from a local website found on the road near us. I said the person stole it from it's home! lives on that rd, visits us often, I shoot bottle rockets at it trying to drive it away. Must not be gun shy cause it doesn't leave till it's done peeing where ever it wants! Then it goes home.
DW said I'd been better off saying I shoot a .50 cal BMG at it, bottle rockets/fireworks are illegal in NY

And my neighbor across the road dog likes to come over occasionally, barks at me like I'm trespassing. Pretty funny, dog acts vicious to me, neighbors wife can't catch it, I have to grab it by the collar, runs from her. Her husband when he's home, dog doesn't come over, must like men. Only way I've seen her get him she drives over her nice brand new car and tells him he can go for a ride, and he jumps right in, covered with mud sometimes from our pond

Neither dog has ever bothered my chickens even when they're out. Only reason they don't bother me, just a annoyance. Dog over the hill that was abducted is a farm dog, used to beef cows anyway.
Not sure what they'd think of goats though, bet a HOT wire would keep them at bay.
