The Old Folks Home

My iPhone is my computer and my byc app wouldn't work till the old site was shut down. But I'm here. Wide awake and listening to a straggler peep it's little head off in the incubator. The rain has been incessant so my poor garden is overgrown. Been trying to whip it into shape, but I still haven't gotten all my herbs planted. Also been totally crushing on my ducks. They're soooo plush. Not like chicks at all.

Gosh, rain for you too. We haven't got rain here (thankfully) but it seems to be the thing happening south. I don't have ducks...but I hear the AMs peeping. They're due the 2nd.

How many ducks?

Six. Two months old. They really grow fast! I hatched them myself. Maddy is loving how they all follow her in a line. They are the cutest things. I can't wait till they start laying. I'm so sick of the rain! Poor chickens are so dirty. The ducks love it, though.

Even on the desktop version the options above the text box don't work for me to add a photo.

I'm about to go on my electronic device sabbatical - Dsqard and I leave Saturday morning. Yosemite NP is putting the chains up to Half Dome on 2 June... we have a permit for the 9th.

Hopefully we won't slip/fall or get eaten by bears.
