I am probably the outlaw.

Everyone looooves the in-laws, and think I am slime because I don't.

Spouse too.

But really....why is it so difficult to go unlock the car? Why can't they do that without getting grumpy? I didn't mess it up!!

Guys, you can pick your friends, you can even pick your enemies but you are just plain S*****D when it comes to family.

What's that old saying? I feel much better since I've given up all hope? I modify that to be I feel much better since I put a lot of distance between me and my family!

None of them would drive the distance when I lived 50 miles from them in IL to visit me so I'm pretty safe they won't show up anytime soon since we moved 200 miles away from them all.

Ugh...isn't that the truth!

In a hotel room, 10:30 local time, 8yr old still awake, why???? Blasted room was set to a temp of 72!!

I tried to reduce the temp. ...lowest possible temperature is 61!!!

Kid is used to sleeping at 40 to 50.

Were you able to work out your pet sitter problem yet?

Go to the ice machine, fill trash bags, place in bed.

We just got 1.5 inches. We had 1inch 2/10ths a couple of days before that. I'd love to send it to those of you who need it. Seriously, sharing IS important.

Ha!!! I am pretty sure that I would like your abuse..... only issue I see is that you like that silkie chicken. I am still not sure those Silkies are chickens. ..kind of like are chihuahua's really dogs?

Al so sorry your youngest and you are having a time with the heat.
Try carrying one of those coolers full of ice with a fan on top. Might cool y'all off enough to help you sleep.

I've been battling deer in my garden this year. The little freakin darlings keep nibbling at my greenbeans. I've tried netting, they pull it off, I've tried 50 pound test fishing line strung around the parameter, they break it. All I have in the mornings are deep prints in the rows and little greenbean stems sticking up in the air. At least they are trying to recover.

Do an electric strand instead of fishing line? I saw where someone ran an electric wire around the garden and put aluminum foil around the wire and smeared with peanut butter. Deer walked up to garden, smelled the peanut butter, went to eat it and got zapped on the tongue, apparently it worked well...

I moved to Alaska, one reason was to get away from them....

Ugh, I have a feeling my parents would do that.... I bought a farm way out in the sticks.... Now they are looking at houses a few miles from my farm... ugh... I'll never have any peace out there... It's bad enough that one of dad's friends owns the place next to my farm...

hhmmm spent the last hour or so watching the new movie adaptation of Beauty and the Beast..... Very well done.. We are having a awful wet dreary day here otherwise

I want to see that, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
