The Old Folks Home

Ugh, I have a feeling my parents would do that.... I bought a farm way out in the sticks.... Now they are looking at houses a few miles from my farm... ugh... I'll never have any peace out there... It's bad enough that one of dad's friends owns the place next to my farm...

You'd better call him and tell him NOT to sell to your parents!! ...and not to be helping them find a place too close.

In a hotel room, 10:30 local time, 8yr old still awake, why???? Blasted room was set to a temp of 72!! :th

I tried to reduce the temp. ...lowest possible temperature is 61!!! :barnie

Kid is used to sleeping at 40 to 50.

Go to the ice machine, fill trash bags, place in bed.

Al so sorry your youngest and you are having a time with the heat.
Try carrying one of those coolers full of ice with a fan on top. Might cool y'all off enough to help you sleep.

Ice...brilliant!!

Ron, Congrats! It looks great and I know you are all happy to have the kitchen back! :highfive:
I can smell that bread all the way out here! :drool
I start the bread by making flour with the kitchenaid flour attachment. I will likely use hard red wheat this time. There is a nice smell from grinding the grain too.

Ron your kitchen and stairs look great! :love
Over 100* wow it's early in the season for that, isn't it? :hit
Thanks!
We were up to 100 several weeks ago which was early. We get the hottest temps from now through early August. There are usually 10 to 20 days over 100 in a summer. 112 is close to a record though.

Ron you are welcome to makeover my kitchen any time - all the ice cold Coke and ice cream you want:yesss:
I might get a milkshake from habit burger with lunch today....Thanks for the suggestion!

Comic for the day:
