The Old Folks Home

I start the bread by making flour with the kitchenaid flour attachment. I will likely use hard red wheat this time. There is a nice smell from grinding the grain too.

I really like the setup on the sink! Great job Ron on the kitchen :love

Hi Al! :hugs So sorry your southern migration has turned into such a dud. Worse has to be getting calls about how wrong things are going back home and not able to do anything about it (been there once and it truly sucked).

Congrats on the remodel completion Ron! It all looks great!

Reminds me I have to get busy in my kitchen. Promised to make a large NY style cheesecake for the Dad's day gathering here tomorrow. Hope things go well. Supposed to storm, again, crossing fingers we can make it thru the BBQ.
We actually had enough dry weather again today (just a couple sprinkles) that I was able to get the last coat of primer on all the raw wood inside the coop addition. Since we are supposed to have another solid four days of rain I was getting worried about all that plywood and stranboard turning into big bloated sponges from the crazy humidity.

Got the batteries in the camera but I've been too busy to grab pics of the new chickies yet. I guess I better before they feather out! Still pleased. All are healthy and happy.

Speaking of "happy", a huge HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the dads. Hope you all are able to have a fun and safe celebration of all the dads out there this weekend :clap

Gonna BBQ this weekend--likely rib steak. I am so happy to have the kitchen back!

have to ditto that @ronott1 love the farm sink

The sink is huge! I like that it is a single drain too. There are less places for the drain to clog on the way to the cleanout and there is a straighter path from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal. I hate having to clean that out every 6 months...

Ron, that kitchen and those stairs look great.

You can skip sending me the bread, I bake 2 loaves a week. Send an extra loaf to Diva, she needs to break out from the ice cream food group.

Thanks!

I love home made bread! It is one of my greatest pleasures.

A mocha shake? :drool I really, REALLY wanna try that!!!
The mocha shake was great! I try not to get it too often. I think this was my second so far but maybe I have a faulty memory?
