I will be grilling a slab of ribs bbq style, fried green tomatoes, breaded and fried eggplant and squash with some coleslaw. Blackberry pie for desert.

Were you able to work out your pet sitter problem yet?

Not really..... Grands were so ticked when I called them last time, that I told spouse to handle it....spouse refused to handle it.

Sigh

Sitter said there looks to be enough feed in my giant trashcan feeder to use that for all animals until spouse is in town Saturday to unlock the car.

Bunch of crazy.

Go to the ice machine, fill trash bags, place in bed.

And Miss Piggy loves me, and made me love her.

Al so sorry your youngest and you are having a time with the heat.
Try carrying one of those coolers full of ice with a fan on top. Might cool y'all off enough to help you sleep.

We have been trying to be better with the heat management. We haven't been great though..... we managed to start our hike today at 8:40.... really should have started at 7. Still though, we didn't die, yeah. We did have lots of water. And I kept thinking of you two hiking ladies.

Oh....I looked it up, it has been high 90s to low 100s here.
