The Old Folks Home

that is three loafs not one what gives there? makes us look like loafers.. but darn yummy ones ......

Um um good :drool

That looks so good, I can almost smell it. :drool

Ron that looks amazing.
My Daughter said the bread was very good. She often does not like the crust but she liked it today. It must have been the two eggs I added today.

I will freeze two of the wheat bread loaves and slice up and freeze the banana bread. I toast a slice with breakfast right out of the freezer.

Oh, for a loaf of crust bread and a big pot of stew to eat with it?:drool

I usually don't do too much bread baking in the summer but as soon as fall comes along, so does home made bread.

I went into town this morning. Big mistake. It's Town WIde Rummage Sale Day. YaY! NOT. Don't get me wrong, I love rummage sales. I just don't love it when people park their car in the lane with just the right side tires of their car almost off the pavement, turn off the motor, get out and walk across the street just to hit a rummage sale and leave the street (no curbs in a lot of the town) with almost one lane for traffic. I think the police car was parked downtown at the station. Our little town has 1300 more or less people in it and every one of them plus every Amish person who owns a buggy and horse (namely all of them) turns out to go a rummaging. Oh, and all the surrounding towns of 100 people or more hit the sales also. I was really glad to get my groceries loaded and head out of town as quickly as possible.

GOD I SOUND LIKE AN OLD PERSON:barnie

Think I'll go make pizza. I can't compete with that yummy bread.

There were a lot of cars in our City today too. I think there was a detour around something on Interstate 5 and it went through East Main street and around to HWY 113 south. I will have to check the news to see what was going on.

Making Spaghetti tonight. Tomorrow I will bake sourdough crusty bread and an angel food cake for Fathers day.

I am filthy.

I like to think that BF enjoys me coming home to him completely covered head to toe in gravestone muck and graveyard dirt.

Then I planted my front garden. Not enough time or energy to plant the kitchen garden. I planted 15 tomato plants, still have 25 left to go. All will likely not get in.
