Look there! Llano county no less!Alaskan, I've been to the top of Enchanted Rock. Lovely views but it was a hot climb. My folks live in Kingsland, TX.
Not really..... Grands were so ticked when I called them last time, that I told spouse to handle it....spouse refused to handle it.
Sigh
Sitter said there looks to be enough feed in my giant trashcan feeder to use that for all animals until spouse is in town Saturday to unlock the car.
Bunch of crazy.
That's infuriating!!!
They do know that you'll be taking care of them in a few years right?
That is sad (the bugs..... and thanks for the sympathy in regards to the in-laws).... but you do know that DE won't really knock them out? Right?
If you have a bad infestation, use something toxic.
I use Sevin Dust. Dust chickens, roosts especially near the ground, and any coop wood near the ground. Repeat in 10 days, then repeat again in another 10 days. It gets mites, lice, and most other things.
For really bad mite infestations, Spinosad is the current gold standard. It really knocks out the bugs. Thanks! I'm willing to try anything. Does anyone else here dust their birds with a flour sifter? It works great, but I'm pretty sure the neighbors think I've completely lost it.
