Nifty said that there is a bug in the system that puts up multiple year badges for people that have not logged into the new site. The Admins are working on a fix for the bug and the badges will be applied when the bug is fixed.

If you find one of your old posts and click on it, you can see the trophy points that you have. @getaclue has 10 for the 4 year badge so the trophy points have been applied
 
On the topic of cemeteries, I own all the land surrounding this one.

The first link is the main cemetery, the 2nd one is the last of the family (from what I have been told) that was actually buried outside of the cemetery on my land. It's weird, I own the field that the cemetery is on, but I do not own the cemetery it's self...
If you look at the right hand column, you will see some that are marked with a fieldstone, this is just a head sized white chunk of quartz without any markings on it....

Also, it says it is well maintained, that's a joke. When I bought the place, you couldn't even open the gate for all the weeds, we have at least cleaned the gates out and keep the grass down on the outside of the fence, we haven't tried cleaning out inside the fence yet, but when I move the horses out there and I'm out there every day, I'll hike up there and clean while the horses eat. Just getting the weeds down. I may get a load of mulch delivered and thick mulch the whole thing just to kill the weeds. There is one peony in there that I have seen, and I think there were a few hostas, but the rest is weeds.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to properly take care of this cemetery since obviously the family isn't?

My daughter, and grandkids come stay with me frequently. I actually enjoy it when they do. The only reason I have mixed feelings about them going back home, glad, but sad too, is due to the ages of my grandchildren. They're very young, and so full of energy, but not yet old enough to somewhat independent, and self reliant, so they wear me out.

Having my friend, and her grandson stay with me was not the problem. There's more to the story regarding when my friend stayed. The issue was how the rest of her family came pouring in on me uninvited, what they expected from me, and how they treated me.

My suggestion is to stock up on Solo type plastic cups, and plates, plastic silverware, and fix large easy meals like spaghetti, stew, chicken and rice, chili, beans and rice, neck bones and rice etc. Set it out, so they can help themselves, and you don't have to serve them. Clean up is so much easier that way too. Take a marker, and put each person's initial, or name on a clean plastic cup each morning, and that way you don't go through a ton of cups. Don't make anything harder on yourself than you have to, especially if there is an easier solution.

Great suggestions, and some that we have done. Most of the time, the plastic cups are used..but I still see a lot of cups and glasses. Dishes too. We both cook. She is always buying food, and we seem to just do what ever. I will cook something..a lot of it..lol..and then they will eat that. She will cook something, a lot of it..and we eat that. An oh yeah, I rarely do the dishes! She has the kids do chores, and dishes is one of them! Yesterday, they all went out and weeded my garden for me. Something that would have taken my husband and myself close to an hr. to do, they did fast! The noise. Yes, the three young ones love to play..two boys always together. Most of the time they are happy with each other, but hey..they are brothers! ;) They mind me pretty quick when I say something. Like I said before, of all of the family, this one is the easiest. The kids are pretty well behaved.
They have a large R.V. in the driveway so they can take turns using the two extra guest rooms. One is a given that mom gets it every time, she is 5 and a half months along..yes, number 8 is on the way! :bow She does great with these kids. So patient. And, they show such respect for her. I love it. Oldest is 17. A few teens there.
Man, I'm sorry you had trouble with the ... extra family showing up. I can't imagine anyone just doing that. I have a sister wanting to come over, but I have to say no right now. With the 7 grandchildren, parents, and my son with Spina Bifida staying here because he is healing from surgeries..that's enough for now. Oh yeah.
 
Thank you Penny, I haven't been able to see these grandchildren much. They lived way north of us. Now, when the home is done, they will be much closer. I'm having the chance to get to know the personalities.
Oh, I have something I will be sharing when it gets done drying. The oldest girl is quite an artist. Wow, can she paint. She comes up the other day with this square thing in her hand, then I see what it is. Oh my goodness, she had painted a rooster for me! I started to cry. It was so beautifully done. She is letting it dry, then she sprays it with something. I will post photos when it's done drying.
