I took to my new prescription like a duck to water. If I look down through the progressive part of the prescription and move my head back and forth...it will cause a bit of distortion. I have to look for it.I could see the advantage of bi focal glasses for driving. It is getting hard to see the dash without glasses even though I can see fine up the road
DH on the other hand hasn't quite enjoyed the change over as much. They measure where you look through and mark it. I wonder if they marked his a bit too high or low. I urged him to go back but he's still trying them out. He wears his old glasses for everyday in case they get hit and broke. So I'm sure that isn't helping.

I love our optometrist, he explains everything so nicely. He shows me the blood vessels in my eyes...of which there has been no diabetic changes at all.
My blood vessels look amazing to me, a nice size and well developed, not weak or atrophied...so I had to ask him. He confirmed they looked good. He also explained why we need reading glasses and progressives, I think it had something to do with the hardening of the lenses? (I think I need a bigger brain hard drive, I've apparently dumped my cache and deleted some files because I can't remember exactly what he said.) It was fascinating though.

Silly boy! He's knows I have all the roosters here. They start about 2:50am...at the very first light showing in the north.
