The Old Folks Home

Ok...informal poll...

Catwoman, the move with Halle Berry:

1.worst super hero movie ever

2. Worth a watch

3. Great movie

I rate it 2.70 I liked that movie! And yes...she's VERY hot. I can appreciate a beautiful woman, even though I'm a woman. She is one of the women that can rock both long and short hair. Envious here...lol.

She's diabetic, did you know that?

Campared to Tropic Thunder....it's a ten star movie. :lau

Laughed do hard at your post!

Had no idea she was diabetic. Childhood?

My 'go to first unread' isn't working today, so I read everything backwards. First & most important; Wicked, I am SO SORRY for your loss of your ram & all the crap mother nature has hammered you with! There are not enough emoji hugs in the world to convey this. :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs

You'd probably like the theater in the town I work in, it's a classic all original and even has balcony seats. They play new movies also but I've always wanted to watch a old one sometime, take my father-in-law. Frank Sinatra, John Wayne era etc usually once a month for $6. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't play Close Encounters of the Third Kind sometime. This month is the original National Lampoons vacation (I've watched that too many times...)
Think it'd be pretty neat to watch a oldie on the big screen.

I would love it! Last year they played the original 1920's Phantom of the Opera at a really old theater downtown. I'm an old movie buff & there aren't a lot of old buildings out this way, so I was pretty excited about it! DH & I never, ever go out on dates, so we decided to go BIG. We dressed up in 1920's clothes, to see a 1920's movie, in a 1920's theater. It was the greatest date I've ever had & a night I'll never forget! We were the only people in the theater dressed for the period & people were freaking out. We were literally stopping peoples conversations as we walked by & people kept stopping us & asking if we'd been hired by the theater. I'm normally really shy face to face with other humans & try to be invisible in a crowd, so this was just CRAZY for me. I had to put myself in 'the zone' & pretend to be casual,
like it was the most normal thing in the world. The whole thing was hysterical & an absolute blast!!!

Black

Watched the new mummy.

I love B horror...it can be fun stuff...

But:
1. They had Tom Cruise, and at this point...I have no interest in ever seeing him on the screen again.... nothing he has been in the last 10 years is any good...right? Or am I misremembering?

2. Mummies that act like Zombies? Really? Very wrong, that.

3. Random Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde tossed in, with no connection to anything? Huh?

But #2 just keeps bugging me....and they sucked life force a bit vampire-like

Just wrong.

I don't know why, but Tom Cruise bugs me to the core! Lon, Boris, Bella, & Claude would be rolling in their graves.
