The Old Folks Home

My day went really fast. 20170730_193548.jpg

Just finished picking blueberries for jam and pies. Done with the cemetery work with exception of one more stone in my town. Have to go back to work tomorrow.

There's no trash collection here, but there is a small one man company who will come and collect if you pay him. It's Tom's Rubbish, and they have the best motto:
Satisfaction Guaranteed or Double Your Rubbish Back!

I want a t-shirt, bad.

The septic truck that used to come clean out our tank had a slogan painted on it that said, "Your Crap Is Our Bread & Butter." Funniest thing I've ever seen!!! :lau

We got the first 3X88 feet of siding on the north wall of the house done.We decided to stay with the same metal siding that is popular with the Amish around us-the type that you see on Morton Buildings. Our largest pieces are 3X16 feet and as heavy as all get out. I was glad that length was only used on the bottom. :th

We figure to have it finished by the end of the week and then have to contemplate fascia for the ceiling of the porch overhang....maybe next spring....I hope.

We have a ton of projects around here to be done. Husband's back has gotten so bad that he is going to hire some guys to do some of the work. I am glad he sees the light.
