The Old Folks Home

I'm still sitting here trying to get motivated. I should see if Miss Extreme Broody, Chewbacca is done. I think there were three left to hatch when I lifted her off this morning.

Its gonna take me forever to catch up, so still on Friday morning posts
I'm really bad. I don't even care for hotel rooms if I don't have to. I like to go and then come back the same day...lol.

IF I absolutely have to go away...one night stay is about all anyone can handle of me...because I get pretty grouchy if I have to stay two nights...lol.

Wow! That is exactly me too! :highfive: I cant wait till they invent the teleporter.

I just spent 2 hours in town that I'll never get back grocery shopping and still didn't get everything we needed.:hit400 dollars poorer to boot.:hitThat will teach me not to shop for over two weeks.

What really ticked me off was that I couldn't find our kitty who has bladder stones special food that he has to eat. I've been able to find it both at the local C&R and the Dollar General, but suddenly, nobody has it. So I got home and went shopping on Chewy.com.

Anybody ever used that site? I've bought from them several times over last winter and have to admit, it's pretty danged convenient. I wish they sold chicken feed!

If you go to the file manager and alt-click(The other button on the mouse, right click for right handed people) and select properties and then tools. look for windows cleanup. Remove all of the temporary files and any windows junk that is there. After that, run disk check and let it check on startup. After that, go back to tools and then run the defragmentor tool.

If you suspect spyware, I use spybot. Make sure to download it from the main website.

Thanks!!! I am starting it now...running slowly. ... must be lots of junk.

I use 2 programs, both are FREE, that are wonderful for keeping the "junk" cleaned out, and the registry cleaned out too.
First I run this program: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
After you run the regular cleaner, notice on the left side, the icon that says Registry. Click that, then Scan, and Fix any errors. When it asks if you want to back up the registry, click no, and proceed.
I use this program: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

His handle is: ronott1

Thanks so much! Planning on doing that as soon as I am done with Ron''s suggestions.

I am pleased...I am going to get it working well again!

Yeah they do, plowing is super rough on them especially when you have a super long rutted up big rocks sticking out bad driveway.

Yep.. the drive is I think a mile, plus we have several parking areas to do...uh, I think 5. Lots of switchbacks and not enough areas to push the snow...so we have to ram, ram, ram the snow back.

Stick shifts can be fun, older ones can be temperamental. Buddy of mine has a old Toyota that looks just like a old jeep, not sure what yr. He just uses it for a plow truck. Funny whenever someone tries to drive it that hasn't before, reverse is where first gear should be lol.

Yeah, our plow truck has reverse top left, and 1st is directly below. So plowing it is just, shift straight up, shift down...back and forth... bang, bang, bang...

Did I mention the hairpins? ?

BTW, your naked necks!! Dang! I think I might be slowly getting used to them...

I can see how tasty/easy to butcher they must be.

Its a very good think that not all the things in my head make it to the screen.....

Yes, Chewy is an awesome site! The delivery service lost our package , so they sent us two of everything we ordered! And they even offered to pay for dog food at a local store if we needed it! Never heard of service like that!
