Grats to him and you both. Shame we have to have so many prisoners to need all the guards, but it is what it is.

It's when you go to the Dr., and tell him the "bug" you have is going around the jail, and your Dh brought it home to share with you. At first you will get "the look". When you explain, he's a detention deputy, their whole expression lightens up.

My dad got his beard shaved off once at the hairdresser, and when he came home the dog bit him.

Got a call earlier from the drug company in regards to the new medication my Dr. put me on. When the gal told me my co-pay would be $175.00, I almost fell out of my chair. No, that's not a one time fee. Yes, that is what it will cost me each month. I told her I would have to get back with her on that. Oh, wait...I qualify for a manufacturer's discount, which brings the co-pay down to $10.00 a month. She submitted the information. When they get the approval for the discount, they will call me to arrange delivery of my medication.

I don't see why they have to play games with the prices like they do. I know they spend a lot on R&D, but really they want thousands of $ for some of these drugs!
