The Old Folks Home

And hey, no need to hide. I wouldn't mind a bit if you shared a photo. :)
Well I have absolutely no idea where I came across this laughing puppy I'm using for my avy. At all.:barnie I find it a bit disturbing I can't place it. hmm.png

I have a folder within my BYC folder that has member pics..but those are just for referencing to show everyone's cool pics to family and friends. Like your pic of the candling showing the duckling legs! That just has to be shown...lol.

The explanation usually starts out..."you know Cynthia, the white splash hen, the one with the black specks...well this was taken by Cynthia, the lady who has a hen just like her. Look at her candling pic of the duckling's legs!!!! Isn't that amazing?"
(oh yes, I show everyone's pics off...lol!)

But this pic wasn't in that folder. It's curious it made me think of you...lol. :hugs

I usually don't like to use a pic someone else has been using without asking. I feel it's like stepping on their territory I guess? idunno.gif I kinda know you and thought I'd ask if we crossed paths. devil-roasting-smiley-emoticon.gif I figured you wouldn't roast me too badly if it was (hopefully)...and I'd change it out for more "wicked" attire. :p

@Wickedchicken6, your posts are always fun not only for what you write but for your use of avatars. What a hoot!

Morning everyone. It's sun shiney here for a start of the day with rain predicted after 1pm so we will probably be out working the pasture again this morning. We have the remains of one tree to clean up and then a second one to fell. When we bought our farm in 09 the two pastures were filled with scrub pines, most of them dead or dying that seeded from what was once upon a time a Christmas tree farm next door. We had a company come in and clear cut the pastures, removing all the dead pine and undesireable trees at ground level. What was funny was that of the desireable trees that they left, they damaged most of them in removing the dead trees around them. Now those trees are showing signs of dying so we are removing them in order to lengthen DH's runway for his RC's.

We've spent years burning, cleaning, leveling and mowing to get the pastures looking like a green velvet carpet in the summer. I'm sure the Amish are just shaking their heads at our waste of good pasture when they roll by.

@Cynthia12, that dog is too cute to be legal. I love Labradoodles. The owner of the local free press has one who owns downtown. He makes his rounds for treats and everyone knows his name and spoils him rotten. Great dogs.

Have a great Monday everybody.

(They crack me up too!!!) gig.gif

What puts me on a soapbox is they darn people breeding all the mix breeds trying to say oh we have this or that but millions a day are put to sleep in shelters because they did not have a kid to give it to when it got to big or was to small, to much hair, not enough hair but you said it was hypoallergenic..
here ends the rant have not had enough coffee to be nice

The pit bulls are my rant. People breed the heck out of them and the shelters are full of them already! Wake up breeders (yes, if your dog has pups you are a breeder), there are already too many pit bulls! Stop breeding them!

I hope you got a price break because of the trees in the pasture!

What is everyone up to today? Big surprise, i am working on the coop. Project of the day, pop door and frame for sliding metal to be opened from outside the run. And maybe applying more siding.
