The Old Folks Home

Something was back last night; tripped two traps and moved the one away from the area where I had it. I'm assuming another skunk.

We were away today and as I backed up the trailer for Dh to unhook, I noticed the skunk I caught had moved. Something's been in the yard today. I doubt it was the dog...the skunk is still quite unsavory. I'll have to change things up a bit tonight.;)

I hope you catch them soon!

We worked to get my DW to an expert when she had her para thyroid tumor removed. The surgeon in SF that did the surgery does 4 or 5 a day three days a week. In Sacramento, they do 2 or 3 a month. Big difference!
Oh..that's a HUGE difference! And that sounds like quite an intensive surgery without even looking that up.

yeah... I am the same about surgeons. I want one who does the procedure on a regular basis.

DH came inside today and said I'd better get out to the coop there was a hawk circling the run. I went out and sure enough. This guy was HUGE and new in the neighborhood. We still aren't sure what type of hawk it was. Definitely wasn't a red tail but DH speculated it had a 3.5-4 foot wing span.

No worries. The roosters had everyone herded under their shade protection and were screaming their brains out at the hawk. You could see it twisting it's head around just searching for a break in the net and not finding one, moved out. I gave the boys an extra ration of scratch.

Hope you catch that skunk, Penny. Remember. Head shot= no stink. And enjoy that pendant! Still beautiful, Deb!

Back on Monday, the first day of sun in 2 months. The goats busted into the duck pen, so the ducks busted out.
