The Old Folks Home

I got caught up last night.

Congratulations on the rogue chick, beer!! And that's amazing about your 3 - $50 bills!
Ouch microchick!! I hope your thumb heals well.
Say NO to bruised, squished, damaged nails! (Ouch!!)
Cap...I hope you get feeling better!:hugs Nice feature!!! :clap
Same to everyone with leaky parts/allergies/infections.:hugs
Yes to the block feature! I haven't really had to use it. Yet.:p
No! To being physically ill. :sick

Clue...I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter. :hugs And it never ceases to amaze me how much doctors might take an educated guess when there are tests to find out the real results. That's terrible the doctor was guessing at her injuries like that.
My doctor guessed at mine from the x-rays and henceforth everyone based their treatment from that direction...even though it's wrong. And they wondered why I wasn't responding. Maybe going by a the x-rays does not cover everything? Oy! :smack I asked for an MRI from my regular doctor and found out there were a few things going on. o_O Still not really sure how to proceed since I don't have a doctor at all now...but at least I'm not hurting myself with incorrect exercises because at least I know what's wrong. :p

No! To spinal stenosis/pain/numbness/tingling/weakness/disk herniation/degeneration/arthritis/impinged nerves and all that jazz!
This is not as much fun as it's supposed to be. :smack

I've went to Chiropractors since grade 6 when I got knocked down on the ice. I couldn't stand up straight. I don't go to the chiropractor for my lower back anymore. I do make sure to floss my nerves every morning so they don't become impinged. Ice, ice, ice to keep the inflammation down so I have more strength and less pain/tightness in my leg/back. But everything goes backwards very fast if I don't behave. I lose all feeling and control of the right foot which will move up the leg. And it's the strangest darn thing to look at your foot and not be able to move your toes. I base the severity of lack of movement in those toes to how much I'm going backwards. I made it through all the combining with icing and muscle relaxants. I love swathing...but couldn't do it past the second day. I had to stop. I've been pretty inert since (opposite you, Penny..lol) because I've had to be. Still trying to repair the damage from those two days; henceforth why you guys are seeing more of me. (That's the upside) :D :highfive:
I've been experiencing numbness in my arms and hands since the mid 2000s. I don't want to know more at the moment.

I like the spider earring! Just not on my with my long hair to catch in it.:p
No to bumblefoot!
Yes to divided coops! :wootLovely pics!!
Tea pots, cloud shots, santa's bringing good chicken presents for us...we like chicken math too much...(guilty as charged.) Nice coop shots, cannibal pumpkins, Christmas ornaments and quilts.

Chickadoodles...would covered cattle panels work to keep the breeze out?

No! To hips and knees wearing out.:(

Yes, I see everything getting intolerably expensive. Yes, we are worried.
No...to never ending rain.

I also wanted to say Thank You for the Thanksgiving wishes!:hugs
Thank you for the congratulations on my new award! :hugs
And YES!!! I love the new avatars being sported! :clap :woot

I painted each one as i went along. Sometimes even paint boards before assembling. The barn was open in the front , and i insisted we close it in for birthing goats and new babies. Then DH built a loft and we stored enough hay to last most winters. I even had a section to store bags of shavings. Wish i had that barn now! Still waiting on these guys to start building!
I wish I could paint it like that...individual boards before being put up. That's a lot of work. Hopefully the guys are fast. :fl
We have been here going on 3 year's hard to believe we have 3 coops up let alone all with chickens in them but still looking forward to getting the pole building up we save our coins all year this last we will go another year put metal on the house roof also
Can't wait to see pics! Upkeep...never ending but nice to get done. :thumbsup
I can't believe another week has gone by, just the weekend left! Husband says it is gping to start getting chilly at night. Kiss summer goodbye!
Yep, it's been visiting here.
It's supposed to get down to 27F (-3C feeling like -7) tonight. Brrrrr. :( But next weeks supposed to be nicer. (So I will paint!) :ya

I am still awake. I put those ear drops in and they burn. And then my ear hurts more. Why me? Three times a day, oh joy!
Sorry to hear about your never ending problem. Like me, depression. No cure. IBS, no cure. Just keep on suffering and do the best you can on any given day.
Laying here, trying to sleep. Its raining. Bonk ! Hickory nuts hit the roof. Hoping they will all be off the tree soon.
Took some Benadryl, hope i can sleep. Hoop coop ideas in my head. Husband is going to hate it, he does not like quonset hut shaped buildings. Sigh. Always something. He was complaining how much the garbage stinks. Really? Its garbage, where should i put it? Outside for the bears? The cat pooped in the litter box. It stinks. Where would you like them to poop? The cat puked, the dog farted. Omg, life is messy and smelly. Deal with it! I was looking for those vanilla air fresheners at Walmart and they were out! Millions of other scents, no vanilla. We have tiny flies. All my fault. I stink! :lau

Oy vey! You're having an awful am. The ear drops burn? That doesn't sound like much fun. :hugs

Hopefully once that Benadryl kicks in...you'll drift off with sweet thoughts.
Life IS pretty smelly and messy. But that makes it an adventure! :wee

Flies don't need poultry to exist. Tell him that. We have always had lots of flies.
Before the poultry and before the sheep. The flies want in where it's gonna be warm. They have nothing better to do than get into everywhere we don't want them too.
I've got a fly swarming around my head right now. :barnie That's just how it goes. ;)

I think they are called drain flies, tiny little buggers that buzz in your ear. They love cat and dog food. Any way, i got rid of them for a while by pouring rubbing alcohol in the drain before bed. But they get in the kitchen drain too. Always some bleeping bug doing something annoying! Why can't they just leave me alone?

Hot water works to pour down the drane as well!

SCG bloodhounds are very nice dogs. They are big though, drool alot etc. But the dog will know your scent & also BF. Could be a lifesaver if you get a snow avalanche off your home. Does she have just red ones or different colored? I love the black &tan ones.

Doesn't everyone paint the inside of their coops? I thought it was required, lol. I like yellow in mine.

I left mine alone and the chickens painted it for me.

In poo splatter.

Black and tan.

I did get stuck last year in the front yard trying to climb the hill to dig out my dryer vent. The snow was too deep, I sunk to my crotch and then couldn't move. I was eventually able to move out by using the show shovel and a lot of rolling.

I can't wait for winter.
