The Old Folks Home

Drank copious amounts of coffee during my Navy career... Now I rarely drink it and only at restaurants with dessert if I'm having dessert, which is also rare. I now drink hot or iced tea almost exclusively. (Oh, and many teas have higher caffeine than coffee) I always start my morning with a large insulated mug (maybe 24+oz) with double teabags and that lasts me till ~ lunch time, when I switch over to crystal light; a mix of sweet tea and reg tea w/lemon.

That mix of crystal light and tea with lemon sounds delicious,@Latestarter.

I drink decaffeinated tea and pop. I love coffee and also drank copious amounts when I worked in my younger days. I gave it up and drank decaffeinated when I was diagnosed with my Rheumatic fever. DH is a coffee drinker and I fell off the wagon. I try to limit it to two cups in the morning, probably less than that really as I drink my mug down to half and then refill it. Seldom drink all of it. My weakness is chocolate. Love the stuff and told the doctor he would pry a Hershey Bar from my cold lifeless hand.

I have been trying to step up my intake of water. Never been a big fan of the stuff but if I dump a single serve crystal light or a welch's grape drink into a bottle of water it goes down real easy.
I also drink a lot of ice tea.

Hey, there are worse things you could be drinking for your health, penny.

We used to dump it in our water bottles when we went on long bike rides or raced.

I am not one to sit still unless it here on this site :frow I am o the move doing something most the day :p

They are extra tangy sourdough rounds--King arthur flour recipe. These are sourdough only as opposed to having some commercial yeast in them
