The Old Folks Home

To help with my neuropathy (from chemo, not diabetes, but it's pretty much the same) I bought fresh ginger at the grocery store, grate it, and make ginger tea, with honey. I drink it daily. After a few days, I found that it did help quite a bit. It made it tolerable, for the most part. Of course, there are times I have to take pain medication for it, but not very often.

In addition, I discovered one of the ginger roots had begun to sprout. I cut that section, and planted it, in a big bucket. When the bucket got full, I transplanted it into the garden. In no time, I had a very nice patch of ginger growing. I don't even have to buy it anymore.

Guess whose furnace is still broken, and now even higher pressure?

The next tech is coming out at 1930.

they had better not try to charge you for the first call then

growing ginger huh have to look into seeds as I did not know it was one that could be grown I use quite bit

I use ginger and lemon tea a lot. Love it and it helps settle my stomach and digestive system down. I didn't know it had anti-inflammatory properties to it as well. I asked the doctor what was the SOP for what he suspected was wrong with me and he said the new biologics although they were really rough on the immune system. I just moaned. Not a big fan of that. Have too much trouble with chronic sinus infections and I would have to become a monk. Not going to happen.

I wonder if I could use the lidocaine laced rubs? I have a cardiac arrhythmia that I have to keep tabs on.

SGC, that is really sucky about your furnace. I hope they give you a discount considering you had to do a call back on them.
