The Old Folks Home

Love it! You do amazing work!
I remember you posting this top before. It reminded so much of the trees on the front of our property. I didn't find a good pic of just trees but you can see what I mean in this one:

Lovely view. I thought for a split second that the kids were on a terrapin...

Also got some more flannel pillowcases done this morning. I still have probably 2 more sets to go (my sister seriously needs to stop having kids) and 7 more after that if I decide to make some for my techs at work. Not sure, yet. I know the family appreciates them because they ask for them, not sure about everyone else/strangers.

I will share one of them that I finished up this morning, I got lucky and found pink flamingo fabric in the clearance flannel section for $2 a yard.

Onward to work on my outhouses.

It's really dreary here, looks dusk-like... really dark out and really rainy. We're supposed to get wind starting at noon - here's hoping we keep power.

Not going to try to catch up....

MRI results are in.... Fibroids and a mass that looks like cancer limited to the uterous.... everything else looks fine...

So looks like I get the biopsy to confirm... and wether or not its cancer I suspect they will do a hysterectomy.... am ok with all that... just hated waiting for some sort of diagnoses...

deb, :hugs I'm sorry to hear you will have to deal with surgery but happy that the waiting to know is over. The best part of the news is "looks like cancer limited to the uterus" and the hysterectomy should take care of it.
I'm glad to hear your DS will be taking you for your appointments.
Fight it, don't give in, you can beat it.

deb -- Sending vibes for the best possible outcome for you.

SCG -- So when are you going to start entering your beautiful pieces in competitions?

Our houseful for T-day just reduced down to DH and me due to a savage dog bite on SIL's hand which is slated for further surgery next Tuesday to repair nerve, tendon and infection damage, so they won't be driving out on Wednesday for the weekend.

So menu for two: Turkey breast with gravy, stuffed acorn squash, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie.
