The Old Folks Home

No specific injury that I can recall... The seam in the nails has been an off and on issue for the past year or more. The seam on the left thumb finally grew out and went away but the one on the right thumb just never grows out. That's the one (obviously) that is having the issues now. Working with the goats and in their pen, I suppose I could have picked up some poop or whatnot but I DO try to wash my hands as soon as I am done and get back inside.

I'll pull the band aid in the morning and see if I can squeeze anything more out, give it another soak and just keep an eye on it for a few days. I'm on a 7 day course of antibiotics right now for a UTI that I didn't know I had but turned up in the lab results from my last Dr appt. a few days ago. I expect/hope that will help as well.
There is likely a different anti biotic for the thumb.

Check with the Dr. to see if you are immuno suppressed for some reason.

I just got caught up. I've been sick. I'm doing somewhat better now. I had to get up early this morning. The roofers came.
They began tearing the old roof off. They took out all the damaged sheets of wood, and replaced them (only 2). (click on the image to get a larger pic, if you'd like)

They began getting the new roof on.

They cleaned up after themselves pretty good, before they left for the day. They'll be back again at 6:30 in the morning.

They will be done tomorrow afternoon.
It is great to hear about workers that do a nice job!

Has anyone had an experience with dealing with vertigo?

I've been having trouble with my sinuses and taking prescription med's.
It's causing me to have vertigo. Makes me stagger like a drunk.
Are you sure it is the prescription? Often vertigo is caused by crystals that move to the wrong spot in the cochlea. There is a head rotation therapy for it if so

It's the men in the family that don't notice.
Most men know that about the most stupid thing they can do is to say something about a woman's weight, good OR bad!

I had done a order for a blouse got this notice from my bank they disallowed the charge but I could call if I wanted it to go through place was somewhere they felt fishy I ended up did not reorder the item
It doesn't have to be fishy, it can just be out of country or somewhere you don't have a pattern of using the card (online purchases).

Sorry you've been sick Clue. Hope you pull out of it soon. Make sure you ask the workers to walk the perimeter with a magnet to get any missed nails and such. You really don't need one through your foot or a tire.
That is FOR SURE!

@Latestarter Hope you and DD had a nice visit (aside from the illness of course).

Vertigo is many times caused from a problem/infection/inflammation of the inner ear. If you have a sinus infection you can force bacteria through your Eustachian tubes into your inner ears also. That's how little kids get so many ear infections. Their anatomy in their throats is in such close proximity that sinus drainage many times flows right over the Eustachian ducts and into their inner ear. As they grow the space widens and the chances for cross infection lessens.

I would look up whatever medicines you are taking for side effects also and see if vertigo is included. If none include that side effect I would consider that the infection has moved into your ears.

I guess the big question is are you suffering any ear pain?
