Lyme is spread by ticks. Mosquitoes spread a bunch of other nasties, including fun things like West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis.

Ron, sorry to hear you are under the weather, too. We've had a beastly cold here that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. BB2K caught it almost 2 weeks ago, and she's still coughing . . . we're all just so done with this bug!

Yep on the early exposure to sun.But not to late for grandkids.

I hate ticks. Two run ins with Lyme. Ticks can rot. I'd rather deal with roaches.

Ron I think the plague is still out west. It has not made it here yet.
I have told people about it and they did not believe me. lol
My sister told me about it years ago when she would go on geological field trips she told her Professor and he did not believe her! Til they got back and he looked it up! haaaa

Non poisonous spiders are fine (we don't have many poisonous ones, though I guess the Brown Recluse is here, I've never seen one). I'll take spiders over ticks any day. I don't think spiders spread diseases.
