Deep cleaning here. DH ran down to the Amish feed store to buy chicken food for my poor starving chickens.....

Not quite the bad but I told him I have a bantam rooster that feels like a basketball with legs, head and feathers.Missing a meal isn't going to hurt any of them..........and he brought me home a bag of homemade Amish candy. Tastes like Reese's Peanutbutter cups! They do make delicious candy in the community around us.

@Alaskan, I thought about your heatless house this morning when it hit 17 degrees here.

Your kids deserve a medal. I'm screaming about being cold if it dips down to 72 in the house.

It is 66 in our house right now. Just put on a sweater. Still waiting to hear from the vet about my cat. Having tea and going back to rabbit cage building.

The house used to be cooler when we were heating it with our old boxwood stove. That thing had no heat reserve at all. We would be wearing sweatshirt hoodies in the house. Then 4 years ago we bought an EPA stove and it has us opening windows in order to regulate the heat it puts out. Due to my joint problems and inflammation I prefer it to be a little warmer than most prefer. I wear t-shirts around the house now and am usually comfortable while DH is sweltering.

My son got the ring i shipped, but one of the diamonds is missing and was not when i shipped it. Very odd.

Did it get opened and re-sealed???????

My kids are bummed that the house is now warm. They prefer it when the inside temp matches the outside. spouse and I though. ..we freeze

Hello everyone! I am waiting on a call from the vet so i can go get Kiss, my young Siamese cat. He is getting snipped. He has flat chest, so he has breathing issues. I am a wreck, i hate medical waiting!

I hope everyone with health issues gets better soon. I have a sore throat myself.
Today i am building a bunny cage and tomorrow i pick up 3 more bunnies!
Oh yeah, did i tell you i am building a greenhouse?

I hope you had insurance on the ring. I would be so upset. Sorry.

No insurance, they would not insure it because i had no receipt for it. Belonged to my grandmother, how would i get a receipt?
Yes, bunnies are fun! I have been working on another cage.

It depends on what you like in a place. Health care is very good and crime is low but weather is not that good. Cost of living is a lot better than California but looks kind of high

Mine have to chop the wood, haul the wood, and stoke the fire.

They would rather do school while sitting in a sleeping bag rated to -30f than all of that work.

I must say @superchemicalgirl that after 2yrs in Winter Harbor, there is absolutely no way that I'd retire up there....I'd certainly rather be in Mississippi......
