Hubby is out cutting up dead trees. I finished the roof over for the deer salt. Having lunch and going back out.
I let the guineas out of the coop and they are outside the house screaming their lungs out. Hoping the go find bugs.

I'm cleaning house at the moment. I still need to get out and check the chickens again and make sure they have water.

@bruceha2000, it was a surprise to me also. I got this one last month from Orscheln's. It's working well with temps to 0 but lower than that I'm seeing ice formation. It's sitting outside but it really should be keeping the water more open than it is.

The one I bought three years ago gave up the ghost this year. I have it inside for the bantams and while it's icing over, it isn't icing solid. The one that stopped working this month never had ice formation on it.

I need to check the extension cord but to my knowledge it is working fine.

I did Frontline no visible fleas today.

We just did chores.

She's tuckered out now with her skunk and antler. She's 8 and a half weeks old.

One episode of indoor pee today so far at my house and one at tractor supply on a puppy pad in the cart.

Crazy cold and bad windchills here had to sew her a jacket. She wiggled during the entire measuring so it doesn't fit great but it helps keep her warmer.

I just saw the first picture and told my husband. Look! She sewed that dear puppy a little jacket so she doesn't get cold outside!

Does she have puppy breath? The only smells that are as good as puppy breath are new baby smell after they have had their first bath with Johnsons baby bath soap and a horse's breath after they eat sweet feed. If somebody could figure out how to bottle those smells they would be millionaires! IMHO.

I found my receipt for my new heated water bowl. It may go back to Orscheln's if it keeps freezing.

She does have puppy breath but I'm not that enamored with it.

She also has a ... dog odor... that I'm trying to get used to. My house now smells like dog when I walk in.

I also caved today and let her in my car.

I fear my life will never smell or look the same.

Even my new heated dog bowl had a coat of ice on it....unfortunately. It's only up to 8 degrees at the moment so hopefully it will be thawed when I go out.

I never have had any luck with heated dog bowls.
