Love the mario and the old style machine do you have you name on them ?

Yes, it's an old singer with "stitched by ____" and my name.

I did a search and found an old quilt along with the quilt pattern and blocks that is still up.
I downloaded the blocks and quilt top and bookmarked the pages so I can try to make one later on. Thanks for the inspiration Scg. I hope I can make one.

Yep it's a free pattern on Craftsy. It is 7315 finished to one inch squares. If you're not feeling quite as ambitious, @dsqard made another mario quilt... let me see if I can find it.

You know Ma had some that said made by her but hers had a viking.. funny Dad wanted to be good to her took it and traded it in Ma came home took it back to get the old one turned out to be a family joke by all... Thank you for the site I may try them is a free or register then free?

Craftsy is free to register. They have some free patterns, but some are pay. Keep scanning the emails, they often have free classes that are only free for a day or two - I got an excellent one about making pie crusts and other crusty deserts.

I am member of another thread called home bakers I am the one posting old style pie recipe for 1961 cookbook I have but thank you always great to see other recipes

My mom does hearth cooking and sent me a chicken pot pie recipe from the early days of this country. I adapted it for oven cooking. It was beyond amazing. I still think fondly about it, but it took all day and I just don't have that kind of desire.

Thank you so much I would love to see the pattern. I don't feel like I could ever do that many 1" squares.
How terrible of USPS! I know they have opened and taken stuff from me as well.
I ordered a part for my son on Newegg and they lost it. I put in a track for it and 6 months later it did show up. lol
