Wow Ron i did not know that bridge got damaged in that quake. :eek:

I've been on that bridge.
The bridge has bee replaced since then too. Hopefully it is safer now

That's a good thing Ron.

Penny that is terrible. But at least no people died on it.

Hopefully these will show you the extent of the damage. It only has a couple of partial limbs left on it. But the woodpeckers and birds love it due to all the bugs in it.
 
The trees are slowly dying and limbs fall off and look like a sponge. They also excrete a fungus on the bark and the dead limbs have an orange color to them inside. It's very sad some of our trees are well over 100 years old.
I love trees! We named our log cabin Treetops. The back porch makes you feel like you are in a tree house. We have truly huge Tulip trees here, love them!
 
Your lucky your trees are not sick Clue. This fungus is pretty bad here in the south. I sent pics to a tree surgon to confirm the fungus.
We have a silk tree here that shows symptoms or fuserium wilt-- a fungus. The tree will likely be dead in two years. There is no treatment for it
