My driveway

The princess tea party turned out great. I brought out the good china, my teapots, the teapot warmers, etc. We had scones, Devonshire cream, mini blueberry muffins, butternut squash soup, quiche, creamy shrimp stuffed chicken breasts, and mini red velvet cupcakes. I served mixed berry, and chocolate coconut teas. The girls put on their princess outfits, and tried so hard to be "grown up", and dainty. It was adorable. We had a great time, and the food was really good.

The guys got back a little before 10:00 pm. They had a wonderful time too. Apparently, they ate a ton of junk food, including cotton candy. My grandson got a few monster truck toy trucks for himself, and one for each of his sisters. Around 9:30 my grandson got tired, and wanted to come home, so they came home. They beat the mad rush of everyone trying to get out at once, at the end of the event.
Never been to a tea party, sounds fun to do. Maybe next time the grandkids come up.

We are lucky, we only have rain or freezing rain. Our driveway is 400' long and the road we live on is dirt and not maintained by the county.

I'd rather get feet of snow than any freezing rain. Our driveway is long, that's the "top" portion, it curves around at probably 300 degrees and then down to the road (we live at the top of a hill). The road we live off of is dirt, but the town maintains it. The family of one of the town plowers lives on our road, so we're usually well taken care of.

Got my bread on the last rise, trying to get motivated to go sew.
