The Old Folks Home

I can almost smell it, it looks so good.

I use the water from the ducks that they poop in to water my garden in the summer. It works great.
I did not get a picture of the almond blossoms. They are starting now which is both nice but is a harbinger of allergy season!

I will need to start generic flonaise soon....

Got a cord brought in. Using the last of my good wood to keep the stove going to dry what I just brought in out. Snowing like crazy but I think I'll take the dog for her walk while I'm gross and wet.
I'll get some winter wonderland pics for you Ron.
Good morning!
finally quit snowing here during the night. Spent the morning clearing outbuilding roofs and shoveling my way to the coop. Just loads of fun in a -20 windchill but at least the sun is finally shining. DH is outside right now clearing the house roof. Sittin' in the recliner to warm up my "first floor" then I'm going to stuff a nice 10 lb turkey into my pressure cooker for nice Sunday dinner and several days' worth of pickin' then we should be down to the carcass and a good vat of stock just in time for a simmering pot of soup for the next storm.

I have generic claritan and benadryl here will be starting the two every morning 1 each

I'd rather get feet of snow than any freezing rain. Our driveway is long, that's the "top" portion, it curves around at probably 300 degrees and then down to the road (we live at the top of a hill). The road we live off of is dirt, but the town maintains it. The family of one of the town plowers lives on our road, so we're usually well taken care of.

Got my bread on the last rise, trying to get motivated to go sew.
Some winters I can see that if I drive up towards lake tahoe. This year the snow pack is low though.

This is from the January snow survey:

I take allergy pills year round, should use nasal spray too but i hate it. I save that for when it gets really bad.

Never been to one either but then tea is not my favored drink apple cider or coffee here
Me too. Have a big pot of cider mulling on the stove and a pot of coffee brewing most days when we're going to be outside movin' snow or tending critters. Reminds me it's time to refill my mug.
