Good morning!
finally quit snowing here during the night. Spent the morning clearing outbuilding roofs and shoveling my way to the coop. Just loads of fun in a -20 windchill but at least the sun is finally shining. DH is outside right now clearing the house roof. Sittin' in the recliner to warm up my "first floor" then I'm going to stuff a nice 10 lb turkey into my pressure cooker for nice Sunday dinner and several days' worth of pickin' then we should be down to the carcass and a good vat of stock just in time for a simmering pot of soup for the next storm.

Never thought of putting a turkey in a pressure cooker lol. I bet that would work great for tough ole wild turkeys.
I just finished a big bowl of chicken soup, made with pressure cooked chicken, bone broth, and homemade egg noodles.
Have another one ready to go in the cooker, going to shread the meat, add some cumin, chili powder, garlic, etc. Makes some homemade corn tortillas and bake up a big pan of enchiladas for dinner.

I have three fighting and screaming right now driving me insane and talking ain't helping, think I'm going out in the snow storm and split firewood for some peace and quiet Lol!

Oh, we were talking putting a fan on tomato plants. It's a way that helps strengthen them, they live a pretty sheltered life indoors, and then outside they go to get beat by wind and rain.

Allergies? I own stock in the company that makes flonase. I use it all year round, twice a day as I am literally allergic to everything. Never could tolerate allergy shots. Just got sicker so I quit them and went to prescription steroid sprays. Breathing is good.

We are getting light snow here but the wind is bad and the temp is 15 right now. I was half frozen by the time I got inside from taking care of the birds my fingers were pretty numb. Wind chill is only -2. But with the wind it feels like it should be lower.

Winter has ceased to be fun. I opened the pop doors for the bachelors and the Buff O's but nobody is showing any interest in coming outside but then again, neither am I.

The fan acts like the wind and makes them get stronger stems.
Actually lg suggested it a couple years ago.

I use a fan on my seedlings too. It makes them stronger when they go outside. Be careful it dries them out bad so be prudent and get them used to it in small 15 minute increments.

Freezing rain here now. Just lost power twice but it keeps coming back. Spent part of my day graffiti quilting which I've never done before. Not quite the right project to have done it on, needed to be more simple, but it was fun.
