The Old Folks Home

Hey, she stayed on the driveway!!! DD2 went off the road Sunday night after work. Near as I can figure she probably hit some ice. Didn't go too far off and a good Samaritan stopped but couldn't' get the car out. So he went back to his friend's house nearby and returned and pulled the car back on the road. She said several people were sliding where she did but managed to regain control. I figure 2 things:
  1. They saw her off the road and slowed down
  2. It is a DARN good thing they did regain control or they likely would have slid right into her car :th
Even though she "didn't hit anything" as in a tree or something, the front bumper is crunched some and the frame is bent back to the radiator. Must have hit a short cut off tree or something.

Waiting for the estimate from the repair place to see if she will be putting in an insurance claim. May not be the best thing for someone who has only had a car for < 6 months.

bent frame ... kiss car goodbye :hit

Frames can actually be fixed or straightened. They usually total a car out that needs that much work but they can even replace whole quarters of cars, like frame, roof, part of the body.
We're supposed to get 15" tomorrow on top of the 10-12 we got the other day. Bet they close school.
