We should all pitch in and get Diva a flamethrower.
How is your dog doing?Totally miserable day here today. Cold. I don't think it got out of the teens and the humidity is 65% with a brisk north wind. I feel so sorry for my chickens. They can't catch a break and get a stretch of temps above freezing so they can relax from working to keep warm. I'm past being cheerful about winter, especially when I slopped water on my gloves this morning and my glove got stuck to the run gate. We've had very little snow. I can deal with snow. DH and I love to cross country ski and sled but so far the most we've got is 3 inches...and a lot of cold.
We have a winter weather advisory through tomorrow 9AM. I'm supposed to take my HAM License test tomorrow. If we can't get out I won't be able to get it done till March. No snow for weeks until the one day I don't want it to snow.Figures.
The one positive thing is that my 3 year old hens laid 6 eggs today. I wanted to hug them. They are handling the weather better than I am and nobody told them that they weren't supposed to be so fast to resume laying after this last molt.
If you are shoveling snow. Please be careful. So glad to hear that Perchie is improving. Hang in there everybody. Spring has to come eventually.
