I've only ate lamb a couple times but it was good.
I'm growing mint to make apple mint jelly. I'll bet that would be good on lamb also.

Morning all. Feel some better this morning. Not 100% but at least fever feels down and I'm actually a bit hungry this morning.

I went to bed around 8:30, cranked the heated mattress pad up to high and sweated the fever out. Still didn't sleep well last night and was awake about every two hours mainly thanks to the storms we had from 2 AM on. Lots of heavy rain and thunder. Kinda refreshing.

@CapricornFarm. Doggo's foot is slowly improving. We have him weaned down to a low dose of pred now. The DM is slowly progressing but we expect that. The bad thing with this disease besides the disease itself is knowing when it is time to say goodbye. His quality of life isn't the greatest. He was always a very active dog that enjoyed being athletic and now he is dependent upon us to get outside to do his business. Back legs are pretty useless but he gets around the house by scooching around on his butt. You look in his eyes and he's still our boy so he hasn't given up yet although he is starting to have some minor problems with incontinence now....trying to get to the door to let us know he wants out and not making it sort of thing so we know the time to say goodbye is coming.

It's a totally nasty disease and @penny1960 will agree with me I am sure that most of the problem with it spreading genetically is due to indiscriminate breeding. We have so many Amish around here with puppy mills and I'm certain that they do not understand the mechanics of genetic diseases. Sad really. Mainly for the dogs.

Good morning, have a blessed day :love

Sizzles, frizzles, showgirls.

I am hoping the person I theoretically traded needlework this winter for ayam cemani eggs this spring comes through. I have found that people's word is not what it used to be. If I say I'm going to do something it is done. Not so for others .
