The Old Folks Home

This was the ad:
Hatching eggs! Silkie, sizzle, showgirls. Black, blue, porcelain, paint, splash, cuckoo, blue cuckoo, mottled, partridge.
Fun color mixes such as cuckoo with buff/mile feathering, paint or splash with red (calico), etc.
Fertility is currently 98%. I have to skip incubating this week and weekend so all eggs are up for grabs!

Some are from a mottled rooster over black showgirl hen. They've been paired for just over a week so could still be mixed color

I bought a dozen for a friend last spring and she got some fun looking freak birds, but lost most to hawks. She's going to buy a dozen, too, now that her pen is covered.

I use to buy allot at cash carry until Costco moved in they have better meat now it is better prices also if your able to go in to buy it

I do like buying large cuts of meat and divide them or large packs and separate them. If it's a good price. I did buy some bacon and a large pack of pork chops yesterday.
There is a Costco in Montgomery but we don't like to go there.
You might get car jacked or shot there. It's a rough town.

Better to spend a little more and NOT get shot or jacked!! I'm really glad I don't live near a city like that. I hear Memphis, TN is pretty much a "no go" city as well.

We are over 80 miles from there.
And we are 65 miles from Tuscaloosa so we shop there as much as we need to. But that is also where our Dr. Is.

I think lamb is often an either/or thing. Like it a lot or DON'T like it at all. DW would eat it on occasion but she doesn't really care for it so why waste the money. As noted, it isn't cheap.

I agree. Unless you live close to someone that raises them for meat.
