I let my Speckled Sussex girls out to free range in the chicken yard today. They had a blast turning over leaves, looking for bugs.

Mine have a huge yard to play in with a major huge apple tree they ate all the apples
the tree actually needs to be cut down it is 85 + years old their swing hangs from it but the bird weight does not pull the limb down they have an old ladder as a roost there often you will see 8 or so up there roosting mid day
