The Old Folks Home

Took the dog for another 3 miles this evening (5 miles total today).

After the first walk we got an hour of respite. Then she was full of it. Now she's snoring away.

Tonight's find was a slightly smaller in length but greater in width stick. It was magnificent.

We also flushed the partridge out again.

You will be in good shape soon! That dog is giving you a workout every day

Got my backside up off the sofa and went out. Got some fence work done on the bantam bachelor run and a roost board up in the main coop. DH came out and dragged the Chicken Tractor project up under the back porch overhang so I have a chance to work on it tomorrow if the spirit moves me. I don't much like babying my back right now but it's better than being in pain I guess so I'll baby away.

Yep, no oils during radiation. Think hot skillet with oil on it.....Ouch. Anything water based should work though.
It is good that you are getting things done today

I doubt it. I had Cryptosporidiosis for 14 days, barely ate anything and pooped everything I had ever ate out of my body and lost 0.2 lbs.
If you focus on getting in shape and good cardiovasular condition, the weight will come off. It can take a long time. My Youngest DD was complaining in August about all her work on losing weight. She was using my fitness pal for calories and nutrition along with getting steps and weight training. She had not lost weight in months.

Then came January and the weight started dropping. It takes patience and time to get past that.

Who knows exactly what changes--muscle to fat ratio, metabolism change or gut bacteria ratios? Who know but the best thing is to stick to the plan

Did you use rooting hormone?
Did you use rooting hormone?

No but I decided to skin down a section on two sides that would be under the soil also.
It gives the cutting a better chance to root. It will go into survival mode and should force roots better. From what I read about rooting cuttings. I have tried many with just the 45 degree cut and not a lot of success stories. So I wanted to try this method. It seems to be helping so far. I want to give it more time before I check for roots.

I have not rooted cuttings in a long time but it is an amazing process

I hope it works for your apples
