Last time we had gravel hauled in the dump truck broke a hydraulic line and instead dumped about 5 gallons of ick on our driveway. He got out, looked at the puddle and I said something like, we didn't order THAT and cracked up laughing. So did he and apologized profusely before limping his truck back to the quarry. He was back bright and early the next day to properly dump the load of gravel. Nice people. The upside was that we never had a weed problem there that summer, LOL.

Chicka, I might approach the people who want the sink and ask them what kind of deal they might cut you if you had them dig out a pond for you. It's not cheap work. They may give you half off or something.

I emailed my friend and asked her to call me when she gets a minute.
I guess I'll ask her if she thinks it's to much? If so we'll have to go through some other ideas. Lol or offer her some cash.

Sounds like the three letter company I worked for. Paid another company about $2B to "buy" the chip making part of the business.

Marvin's delivery guys showed up with most of the stuff. But the sink base cabinet was damaged. So we sent it back. They did not have the other cabinet.
We only ordered the cabinets for one side of the kitchen for now. As we do not have room for all of them at one time. We will go back tomorrow to see if they even have another one in stock.
The one they did bring was all banged up. I told them I'm not paying full price for scratch and dent sale cabinets.
Dh said we will check out another cabinet shop before we go back for our money at Marvin's.

We ordered in a table for a conference room and it took three tries to get one in that was not damaged.

The delivery guy suggested we go to a different cabinet place!!! Hahaha what does that say for their store!

I had that happen with an entrance door that I bought from Menard's. They delivered it, I removed the wrapping and there was a big crack in one of the trim boards.

I took pictures, got in the car, drove across town and said if I got damaged delivered I wanted a discount. I showed them the pictures on my phone and they asked me if I would take a 25$ gift card in exchange for keeping the door and and I said sure. Had a lot of remodeling going on, LOL.

The squeeky wheel does get the grease. Start squeeking girl!

My babies are almost 2 weeks old now and growing like weeds.

That little upright girl in the back has me bewildered. I'm assuming they are BBRs BUT the back left and front chick have a bit of silver cast to them that make me wonder SWD but I'm open for suggestions. That little one with the upright posture is a bewilderment as I assume Orscheln's get their birds from Estes and Estes does not have Seramas or OEGBs other than BBRs and SWDs.
