chicka, hope everything turns out ok with your Dh. My cousin recently had a screw pop out in her back, which caused most of the rods to come loose, and a couple of them broke. She had to have a lot of work done to get herself repaired, but she got it done, and is now healing. Dd #2 is going in for back surgery on the 19th. of this month. Anyone with back pain has my sympathy. Sorry the timing is bad too. I know you need to get your kitchen finished up, and operational. I hope your son shows up, and that he continues to show up to get it all finished up for you.
 
The coffee maker quit working this morning. It wouldn't pump water. Can't have that, so after I finished my chicken chores I went to Wally World to get one. I wasn't impressed with the selection, but I got one that I can live with. What's the big deal about red cookware, and appliances?

Since I had to go to town anyway, I stopped in at Lowes. They have the Husqvarna 2 gallon garden sprayer for $26.99. It's manufactured by Smith, and is a Smith Professional, which costs a whole lot more than what I paid for the one I got, and those are good sprayers. My last two, bit the dust, and I've been looking. I almost got a really cheap one at the feed store the other day, since I'm not finding that the expensive ones are lasting much longer than the cheap ones. Anyway, I held out, and got this one. Looks, and feels really sturdy. Let's see how long it lasts.

I remember when sprayers used to be metal! And never wore out.
