The Old Folks Home

chicka, hope everything turns out ok with your Dh. My cousin recently had a screw pop out in her back, which caused most of the rods to come loose, and a couple of them broke. She had to have a lot of work done to get herself repaired, but she got it done, and is now healing. Dd #2 is going in for back surgery on the 19th. of this month. Anyone with back pain has my sympathy. Sorry the timing is bad too. I know you need to get your kitchen finished up, and operational. I hope your son shows up, and that he continues to show up to get it all finished up for you.

Clue I am sorry your friend had to go through that! I cannot imagine. So wonderful that she is now fixed!

The xray on dh's neck did not show much except that the hardware was all still in tact.
But we won't know more till they do the MRI.

My dh#2 is not a carpenter he just put the appliances back after I wiped down and mopped everything to get rid of the dust.
And he planted my 2 Elderberries and the Pomegranate tree for me.
I'm so glad he did! He also brought me some Cana Lilies!
Canna lilies micha brought me 4-7-18.jpg

They were going to through these in the trash at the greenhouse so he brought them to me. They are so pretty!

What a good Son you have there :love

Amazing craftsmanship, SGC. I would wind up with puckers.

The Cala lilies are gorgeous! I love those kind of plants. I used to go into Kmart when they were the BMOC so to speak and find plants that were on their last legs in their garden dept a nd get them to sell them to me on a discount. Once I got them home, I'd transplant them, give them a good dose of composted horse manure, lots of sunshine and TLC. A year later I would have flourishing healthy plants that I would have to rehome because they had outgrown the house.
